Mentor Orientation

• Mentors who are matched to a new lawyer are strongly encouraged to attend a mentor orientation program prior to their first meeting with their new lawyer. Mentors who attend orientation in person will receive additional CLE credit.

  (All sessions are scheduled from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.)

• Mentors who are matched to a new lawyer but cannot attend a live orientation program, should view the video of the program online or by DVD. The link to the video is located below. (DVDs will be loaned to mentors for a one-week period of time. To be placed on a waiting list for the DVD, please e-mail lawyer2lawyer@sc.ohio.gov.)

New Lawyer Orientation

• The New Lawyer Orientation consists of reading the orientation materials that are mailed to new lawyers. New lawyers are responsible for knowing how the program works and when submissions are due so that they can successfully complete the program and receive New Lawyer Training credit.
